Learn how to set up attributes and soft options in order to create product variations within Jazva.

Overview
In Jazva, we define a item as a variation within a product. Each item will have an item ID (IID) and will share a product ID (PID) with the base product.
Before you can create a variation, you will need to set up product attributes or soft options in the system. This will allow you to distinguish one item from the other. Attribute and soft options lists created in the system can be used for any product if needed.
An attribute is a set of traits or options that make a product’s variations different from each other. Examples of attributes include size, color and styles. A soft option is a set of minor configurations to a product. These customization options can include patches for clothing or a selection of straps for watches.
You can set as many variations as you’d like using a mixture of different attributes, as well as soft options.
