Importing Products from Channels

Overview

Jazva allows you to keep using your existing listings by importing them into Jazva. Each product imported from a channel is automatically created as grandfathered listing.

Please note that these grandfathered listings will not be pushed back to your channels, therefore any changes you make in Jazva to grandfathered listings will not affect the listing on your channel. This initial setting was made to prevent disruptions to your operations, but can be disabled at any time.

The import process is the same from all channels, but may have subtle differences on how much can be imported based on rules and limitations of that specific channel.

Configuring Your Channel Import Settings

1. From the main menu, navigate to Setup and select Channels.
2. Select the channel you would like to import products from.
3. Toggle to the Setup tab within your channel.
4. Depending on the channel, there will be subtle differences in options on how to import your products. Select the appropriate import settings from your channels:

Amazon & Amazon FBA

• Import all existing listings - this setting will import all listings from the channel, including listings from Amazon’s catalog.
• Import primary existing listings only - this setting will limit the import to only the listings you have created (your original products).
• Push to grandfathered listings - this setting allows updates to push to grandfathered listings. Activate only when you are ready to maintain grandfathered listings from Jazva.

eBay

• Import Listings - activates the importing of products with the option to choose its frequency.
• Re-import all active listings -  this setting will import all listings from eBay. This action will only be performed once and will be automatically deactivated. To perform the action again, you will have to re-click this checkbox later.
• Import updates for existing grandfathered listings - this setting imports updates from your existing eBay listings to Jazva.

Jet.com

• Import Listings - activates the importing of products with the option to choose its frequency.
• Push to grandfathered listings - this setting allows updates to push to grandfathered listings. Activate only when you are ready to maintain grandfathered listings from Jazva.
• Re-import all active listings - this setting will import all listings from Jet.com. This action will only be performed once and will be automatically deactivated. To perform the action again, you will have to re-click this checkbox later.

Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce

• Import Listings - activates the importing of products with the option to choose its frequency.

Magento & Magento 2

• Import Listings - activates the importing of products with the option to choose its frequency.
• Push to grandfathered listings - this setting allows updates to push to grandfathered listings. Activate only when you are ready to maintain grandfathered listings from Jazva.
• Re-import all active listings -  this setting will import all listings from Magento. This action will only be performed once and will be automatically deactivated. To perform the action again, you will have to re-click this checkbox later.

Click Update to save your settings. The import will be performed in the next periodic update.
