Transferring Stock
You can transfer stock to Amazon FBA directly from Jazva. This eliminates the need to process transfers from Amazon Seller Central and maintains the accuracy of your inventory counts.
- From the main menu, navigate to Inventory > Shipments and select Transfers.
- Click Create Shipment under your Amazon FBA WH to create a new shipment to Amazon.
- A new shipment will be created. It will also be displayed in the Transfers page with a status of Active. Click its ID to open it.
- Modify the items and their quantities to ship to Amazon.
- You can add new items from the Add Item text field using their SKUs, and also remove items by entering a quantity of 0.
- Click Update to save your changes.
- You can specify who will perform the labeling and other item prep tasks for your FBA transfer shipments. Prep tasks assignments will be displayed in the Special Instructions column. To learn more, see “FBA Labels & Prep Tasks” below.
- Click Submit to Amazon and you will receive a response from Amazon with a designated Amazon ID for the shipment and the shipment destination.
- To print Amazon FNSKU labels, check off the Print Item Labels option.
- Add how many boxes you will be using to ship to FBA by clicking the New Box button.
- Click on the box you wish to pack, it will be highlighted in blue.
- From the items to be packed, enter the amount to place in the selected box in the Pick field. If applicable, enter an Expiration Date for the item(s).
- Click Update and the item(s) will be placed into the appropriate box.
- If changes to a box’s content need to be changed, you may remove a line item and its entire quantity from the box will be returned to the packing section.
- Repeat the packing process for removed items as needed.
- Once all your boxes are properly packed, click Prepare Shipment.
- Select the Transport Type that will be used to send the shipment to Amazon.
- Enter the dimensions and weight for the parcel(s) and click Submit
- Review the estimated shipping cost from Amazon and click Accept to proceed.
- If you wish to recalculate the shipping cost, click New Estimate and repeat the estimate submission process.
- To print the shipping labels, click Print Labels.
- Select Finish Packing and Amazon will be notified of the shipment, you may now proceed with sending out the shipment.
FBA Shipping Methods
Four types of shipping methods to Amazon FBA are available, one for small parcels and another for LTL/FTL shipments, with both having options to use Amazon’s preferred partner carriers or your own non-partnered accounts.
- From the main menu, navigate to Inventory > Shipments and select Transfers.
- Choose a shipment with the status "pick/pack"
- Make your adjustments and click Prepare Shipping.
- Select the desired transport type:
- Small Parcel
- Non Partnered Small Parcel
- Less Than Truckload / Full Truckload (LTL/FTL)
- Non Partnered Less Than Truckload / Full Truckload (LTL/FTL)
FBA Labels & Prep Tasks
You can specify who will perform the labeling and other item prep tasks for your FBA transfer shipments. Prep tasks can include labeling, taping, bubble wrapping and more.
Amazon will deliver this data to Jazva as "Special Instructions."
You can then specify if these tasks should be assigned to the Seller (yourself) or to Amazon.
- To view these prep tasks, go to Inventory > Shipments and select Transfers.
- Select a transfer with a "pick/pack" status.
- Prep tasks will be displayed in the Special Instructions column.
Click on the drop-down next to the task to specify if Amazon or the Seller should complete the task.
