eBay Listing Error Messages

Here is a list of common eBay error codes when listing products or pushing updates from Jazva to eBay. These are only a few existing error codes you may see in Jazva. If you encounter any errors that are not on this list, file a support request.

WARNING 21917108: This listing should contain product details from the eBay catalog. Add product details to this listing.

WARNING 21917236: Funds from your sales will be unavailable and show as pending in your PayPal account for a period of time.

ERROR 17: This item cannot be accessed because the listing has been deleted, is a Half.com listing, or you are not the seller.

ERROR 240: The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in Violation of eBay policy.

ERROR 21916271: When specifying SKU for InventoryTrackingMethod, the SKU must be unique within your active and scheduled listings.

ERROR 21919010: Pictures with a CMYK colorspace are not supported; source pictures must use a RGB colorspace compatible with all web browsers supported by eBay. Submit pictures created using a camera or scanner set to save images with RGB color.

ERROR 21919301: The UPC field is missing. Please add UPC to the listing and try again. If you’re using a mobile app, make sure you have version 5.1 or higher.

ERROR 21916320: The return policy cannot be changed or removed if an auction-style listing has a bid or ends within 12 hours, or a fixed price listing has a pending Best Offer.

WARNING 23015: If this item sells by a Best Offer, you will not be able to require immediate payment.

ERROR 21916923: Pictures cannot be edited because this listing has pending offers, or the maximum number of pictures has been reached.

ERROR 21916743: Item specifics cannot be changed if an auction-style listing has a bid or ends within 12 hours, or a fixed price listing has a pending Best Offer.

ERROR 21919301: The ISBN field is missing. Please add ISBN to the listing and try again. If you’re using a mobile app, make sure you have version 5.1 or higher. 

Error 21919308: This is a just warning message from eBay regarding funds. It will not prevent items from listing or revising successfully. eBay's policy is to delay funds for a certain period of time for sellers with a limited selling history. ERROR 21916626: Variations Specifics and Item Specifics entered for a Multi-SKU item should be different.

ERROR 21919303: The item-specific Brand is missing. Add a Brand to this listing, enter a valid value, and then try again.

ERROR 21916664: Variation Specifics provided does not match the Variation Specifics of the variations on the item.

ERROR 21916587: Missing name in the Variation Specifics or Variation Specifics set. This error can occur when there is a variation value missing in your setup. For example, if you have configured an attribute named "Color" for 4 SKUs but did not input a Color value for one of those SKUs, this error would occur. Editing the data and inputting the missing value will resolve this issue. This error can also indicate that there is a mismatch between the information that is currently on eBay versus what Jazva is trying to send to revise your live listing. In order to resolve this, you will need to withdraw the listing and repost the ad with the 'Marketplace Relist' option disabled, using the "Post Now" button found in the Ads view.
