Category Guidelines

Each channel and their various product types may have different rules and requirements when it comes to the product information you send.

For example, selling books may require ISBNs, while shoes may require setting up sizes and colors as bullet points.

To ensure that you are sending the complete set of information, you can set up guidelines in Jazva to require certain information to be added when assigning categories to a product.

1. From the main menu, navigate to Setup > Categories and select Guidelines.
2. Click New Guideline.
3. Configure the various options as needed to have the category ensure that the information entered for the product fulfills the channel’s requirements.
4. Click Add and the guideline will be created.

Once you’ve set up your guideline, adding them to a product will set the product to require the information set in the guideline.
