Adding a Page to your Website

Creating new pages for your Jazva-hosted site is easy handled through our Content Management System (CMS).

  1. From the main menu, select Setup.
  2. From the Content submenu, click on the pencil icon to enable edit mode.
  3. Open a new tab on your browser.
  4. In the address bar, enter the domain of your website, followed by the words “/jzf/inf/” and then the name of the new page that you plan to create (e.g. www.mydomain.com/jzv/inf/newpage). To create an empty page, substitute “inf” with “custom” in the URL path (e.g. www.mydomain.com/jzv/custom/testimonials).
  5. A page will open with the basic building blocks of your website in place (e.g. your current header and footer).
  6. To edit the new page and add content, click the pencil icon that corresponds to the section you wish to edit.
  7. In the text editor in the Update Cell page, enter the HTML code for the layout and content you wish to incorporate to the page.
  8. When finished editing, you can save the page as a draft by clicking Save Draft. Drafts allow you to preview the changes without publishing them live or making permanent changes to the website.
  9. To preview the changes you made to the website, enable Preview mode by clicking the Eye icon.
  10. Open a new tab on your browser, enter the address of the new page, and the draft will appear.
  11. To publish the page, click Save & Approve.

Editing Pages

  1. From the main menu, select Setup.
  2. Enable Edit mode by clicking the pencil icon next to the Content submenu.
  3. Open the page to edit on a new browser tab.
  4. Click the Edit icon that corresponds to the section you wish to edit.
  5. In the text editor in the Update Cell page, enter the HTML code for the layout and content you wish to incorporate to the page.
  6. When finished editing, you can save the page as a draft by clicking Save Draft. Drafts allow you to preview the changes without publishing them live or making permanent changes to the website.
  7. To preview the changes you made to the website, enable Preview mode by clicking the Eye icon.
  8. Refresh the page to see the draft.
  9. To publish your changes, click Save & Approve.

If you click Save & Approve and later find that you would like to revert the page’s state to an earlier version, select a version from the Load Older Version drop-down list.

Assigning Page URLs (Redirects)

You can assign URLs to pages in your Jazva website by using redirects.

  1. From the main menu, go to Setup and select Content.
  2. From the Redirects section, click Add Redirect, which will expand the From and To table.
  3. In the From field, enter the URL path you’d like to assign to the page. The path should be entered after the domain name. For example, if your URL is www.mydomain.com/newpage, enter it as “/newpage”.
  4. In the To field, enter the original URL path of the page.
    • If you do not want to display the original URL in the browser’s address bar, and you want to display the new URL instead, enter “alias:” before the URL path.
  5. Click Save.

Deleting a Page

To delete a page, simply open the corresponding cell of the page and delete all of its contents.

The page will still be accessible, but will be empty. If you’d like, you can perform a redirect to a catch-all “Under Construction” or “Page Not Yet Available” page.
